Project Description

The project concerns the architectural design of a four-storey student housing building in the Evangelistria area, above the university campus in the heart of Thessaloniki. The proposal maximizes a 68 sqm plot to deliver a 206 sqm building, translating spatial constraints and the project’s investment framework into a clear and efficient residential typology. Interaction between interior and exterior is achieved through a controlled balance of solid and void, with the building envelope acting both as a filter that ensures privacy for residents and as a threshold to urban life. The design articulates density, compact living, and architectural clarity into a coherent student housing model with a distinct identity.

eNJOY architects’ contribution to the project included:

– Preparation of a preliminary architectural study and development of alternative spatial organization scenarios
– Architectural exploration of the proposed solution in relation to basic structural and MEP requirements
– Documentation of the proposed scheme at preliminary study level, serving as a basis for potential further development of the project
