Project Description
The Paralia Sustainable Complex concerns the architectural design of a small-scale residential development in Chalkidiki, structured around a single primary housing typology. This typology was strategically developed and adapted to accommodate different residential configurations, allowing the project to respond to the client’s brief while maximizing the permitted buildable area. The volumetric organization balances built form and open space, enabling private gardens, terraces, and controlled access to sunlight and sea views. The complex was energy-modelled to achieve a 31% reduction in energy consumption compared to the National Energy Code for New Buildings, while project constraints and investment objectives are translated into a coherent residential complex with a distinct architectural identity.
eNJOY architects’ contribution to the project included:
– Architectural design and development of the spatial program
– Coordination and collaboration with structural and MEP engineering consultants
– Issuance of the building permit documentation
